Put your money away. Article marketing brings the results

Most website owners have no idea how powerful article writing can be to bring traffic to their website. Website owners are always looking for ways to increase their targeted traffic because it is targeted traffic that converts to buyers. A lot of money is spent on search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaigns, and, adwords promotions. Yet, article marketing can be free if you write your own articles. Even if you outsource the writing, article marketing is significantly cheaper – and perhaps more cost effective – than the other paid methods to generate traffic.
There are dozens of online article directories where you can post your article free of charge. Your article can not be just about promoting yourself or your website; it primarily needs to provide the reader with some useful information. However, it is when you sign off from the article in what is known as a 'resource box' that the writer gets to include a link to their website or product.
If an article is well written it can have thousands of viewers. When the reader goes to the links in your resource box, they do so as 'targeted' traffic: they are visiting your site because the content of the article was something that interested them. So, next time you go to write a check for a marketing campaign, put your check book away and write an article instead.
